[ARCHIVED] Support Organ Donation with Donate Life License Plate

Donate Life plate vouchers - purchase online today

Florida drivers who believe in the lifesaving mission of organ, tissue and eye donation could soon have a new way to spread the word on the road through a partnership between the St. Lucie County Tax Collector’s Office, Donate Life Florida and the Life Alliance Organ Recovery Agency. The project is based on a new specialty license plate sponsored by Donate Life Florida, which was approved by the Florida Legislature last year. The law requires the presale of 3,000 license plate vouchers within a 24-month time frame before production can begin. St. Lucie County Tax Collector, Chris Craft stepped up to help with the effort by providing a place for people to purchase the presale vouchers online through his office website (https://pay-hub.net/stlucie/donatelife).

“Organ donation has been a priority of mine throughout my career as Tax Collector,” Craft said. “This is another tool that will help raise awareness and save lives, with $25 from each plate that is sold supporting donation education and donor registry management across the state.”

Presale vouchers for the Donate Life Florida specialty license plate can be purchased online at https://pay-hub.net/stlucie/donatelife, or in person at any tax collector’s office throughout the state. (The purchasing portal can also be reached by going to www.tcslc.com and clicking on the Donate Life license plate banner on the homepage.)
